Beat The Waitlist are delighted to offer this VERY GOOD CONDITION Rolex Submariner 'Hulk' Oyster Perpetual Date in 40mm case size. This piece is all-original and we can confirm has never experienced a polish/refurb, it is our policy to stock any modern Rolex that has undergone a polish. This is the reference 116610LV and was recently discontinued making it a highly collectible sports investment piece. All Steel, featuring an automatic mechanical movement with 48hr power reserve, date complication and magnifying 'cyclops' lens (magnifies date aperture by 2.5x), satin oyster bracelet and sunburst green dial with green scratch resistant ceramic divers’ bezel. 

Watch is supplied as a full set with all boxes and paperwork (warrantee card signed, manual and swing tag as can be seen in photos).

CONDITION REPORT

This piece is in VERY GOOD CONDITION cosmetically, with no damage or scratching to the case or bracelet or signs of polishing through the years. It has been tested on a specialist timegrapher machine and is functioning/ time keeping well as expected.

MODEL & PROVENANCE

This watch is not just a classic Submariner—one of the most popular and iconic watches in the world—but a striking and highly collectible variant edition. The watch is easily recognisable thanks to its rare green bezel and dial, causing collectors to give it the affectionate nickname “Hulk”, although LV itself stands for Lunette Vert (“Green Bezel”). This larger version updates the previous LV model ref 16610 (called “Kermit”) that was originally introduced in 2003 for the 50th anniversary of the Submariner. This edition boasts ceramic inserts in the bezel, with numerals in white gold.

True to the Submariner name, this piece also features a TripLock screw-down crown that helps secure the watch to depths up to 300 metres below the surface. The triple-gasket system provides three layers of protection and will remain a very trusted companion beneath the surface of the water.

Powered by the Superlative Chronometer 3130 caliber, manufactured in-house by Rolex. This movement is extremely robust and accurate thanks to its full balance bridge and regulation to run within plus or minus two seconds per day.
